DFI and the DFI Educational Trust hold an Annual Young Professor Paper Competition to help bridge the gap between practice and study.
Technical Committees are the backbone of DFI providing the practical forum for finding common ground in the deep foundations industry. Committees provide opportunities for all members to identify and address issues that impact deep foundations practice.
The Committee Project Fund which provides board-designated funds annually toward projects identified by DFI Technical Committees as research that will advance the state of practice and understanding of deep foundations and produce a usable deliverable.
DFI Student Chapters are organized to allow student members to participate in improvement of the planning, design, and construction aspects of deep foundations and deep excavations.
