Larry P. Rayburn University of Cincinnati Civil Engineering Scholarship

In 2012, the Trust established the Larry Rayburn Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for students at the University of Cincinnati. The Fund honors Larry Rayburn, former President and CEO of Richard Goettle, Inc. and a past DFI President, DFI trustee, and DFI Educational Trust board member for several years.

The establishment of the Fund was made possible through a generous donation from Mr. Rayburn and by a $250,000 multi-year pledge from Richard Goettle, Inc., obtained in 2012 through the efforts of Goettle’s current President, Douglas Keller.

Recipients must demonstrate financial need and an interest in the deep foundation industry via civil or geotechnical engineering.

Applications are made directly to University of Cincinnati. The University selects the recipients.
